2. How hard is the MPP coating with respect to steel and other coating techniques?
The graph below illustrates aluminum's superior hardness after treatment by MPP relative to traditional methods of coating.

3. Why is MPP considered environmentally sound?
The Microplasmic Corporation is diligent in efforts to protect both the environment and ecology of all areas in which it operates. MPP uses NO ACIDS or ACIDIC material, thus no acidic wastes are created. NEITHER NOXIOUS nor OFFENSIVE fumes are produced, eliminating the need for elaborate ventilation systems and consequent maintenance activities. One by-product, HEAT, may be harnessed and used for heating purposes or simply disbursed into the atmosphere. MPP uses no raw materials which are harmful to the public, and creates no harmful waste. MPP is environmentally stable and safe.
4. How does MPP reduce manufacturing costs?
MPP cost to coat aluminum is very low. Unfortunately, due to the proprietary nature of the precise production steps, the precise costs can not be enumerated. BUT, the cost is low. STEEL is three times as HEAVY as aluminum; consequently any replacement of steel with similar sized aluminum would result in a weight reduction in the product manufactured. Weight reduction leads to more miles per gallon either driven or flown, etc. MPP treated aluminum is TWICE as HARD as steel, so it is a potential replacement for steel in high-impact situations (e.g., pistons, moldings, et al). Friction, corrosion and heat attributes are equally superior. The increased use of aluminum could displace much of the current steel usage. The cost savings of MPP aluminum products are clear.
